With the main even of the WSOP over looking for a poker spot is as easy as joining the next Americas Cardroom Live Cage. This live Live Cage event runs July 27th-30th. Players who win a package in a Sunday satellite can choose to play in one of the three remaining Live Cage events this year (July, September, November). The package includes the $5,250 Live Cage buy-in. Up to 3-nights’ accommodations at the Taormina Hotel. Airfare and spending money.

Americas Cardroom also revealed that the November Live Cage will be a Pot Limit Omaha event, a break from the traditional No Limit Hold’em format. Introduced this year, the Live Cage is Americas Cardroom’s land-based version of the popular online Cage that takes place every Wednesday at 7pm ET.

In both versions, players are given a starting stack of chips worth $1 each. 1,000 chips for the online Cage and 5,000 for The Live Cage. The goal of the game is to survive the event before the clock runs out. Receiving cash for your remaining chip stack, dollar for dollar. Please note that there are no re-buys, re-entries, or add-ons available in either Cage.
