Looking to the future in today’s world of going forward, William Hill expands their betting portfolio. William Hill have signed a few exclusive deals with Jockey Club Racing (JCR), Go Racing Yorkshire and various independents expanding their on course betting portfolio.
William Hill known in the market for their on course betting systems have added a further 34 venues to their already 7 existing racecourse venues. This brings them in line of having secured on course betting systems in 41 of the 60 Racecourses currently in existence in the U.K.

Steven White, divisional director retail at William Hill, issued a statement to iGamingBusiness.com saying that despite the growth of online and mobile gaming, retail remains a key part of the company’s business moving forward.
“He went on to say “Our founder William Hill initially started betting on-course in 1922 with a racecourse presence all over the UK for over 90 years,”
“Horse racing remains an important part of our business and they we believe that with the ever-changing landscape of retail betting, it is important to embrace this opportunity by investing in horse racing.”
The exclusive designation applies to all 15 of the Jockey Club’s venues other than Cheltenham where Hills will run at least six facilities alongside existing Star Sports and The Winning Post shops.
William Hill last month began taking bets at Monmouth Park in New Jersey after the state passed legislation allowing consumers in the state to place legal sports bets. This partnership finally came in May through a Supreme Court ruling after 5 years.
