Good news spreads fast – the William Hill World Darts Championship involvement has been extended and a deal to remain as title sponsor of the World Darts Championship is part and parcel of the deal – The agreement will run through to the 2022 tournament.
William Hill has been involved with the Professional Darts Corporation’s (PDC) showpiece event since 2015 and previous to that sponsored the Grand Slam of Darts between 2011-2014.
The 2018-19 edition of this event is expected to feature a record £2.5m in prize money which will include £500,000 that is awaiting for the overall winner and this will also include a record 92 competitors.
