Three Poker Tournaments which have been running simultaneously all came to a huge prize pool guarantee and all thanks go to the players who were all willing to dig deeper by re-entering the feature tournaments. Together the total that was up for grabs between the three tournaments amounted to more than $18 million – this was of course played over some 11 Main Events.
Players logged in to their accounts in their thousands in the hope of winning a share of the millions of dollars on offer and, although some of the Main Events are still in progress, hundreds succeeded in achieving their dreams by entering into the last legs of the tournaments.
The eleven Main Events across the three sites were the culmination of weeks of hard work, thousands of dollars of promotions and carefully crafted satellite schedules – giving players with modest bankrolls the opportunity to compete in high value events.
Leading the charge yesterday was PokerStars as yesterday´s Main Events typified what had preceded the climax to the series, beating their tournament guarantees by an average of 40%. The world´s largest online poker site PokerStars had promoted its tenth anniversary Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) with tens of thousands of dollars in free tournament entry tickets along with special Spin & Go games and the incentive of winning one of eight Platinum Passes to the Players NL Hold´em Championship.
The PokerStars 2019 Players NL Hold´em Championship (PSPC) will be run from January 6th to January 10th at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino Resort in the Bahamas and will be one of the opening events of the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) – thus likely attracting entries from players who have travelled to the Bahamas independently to play in the PCA Main Event.
